Dean is a seasoned advisor in intangible asset commercialisation, investment strategy and international market development.  With a career spanning private equity, government, entrepreneurship and high-growth ventures, Dean brings a rare breadth of experience to complex strategic assignments. 

Prior to joining QANTM Valuations, he was Regional Director of a leading Asia-Pacific consultancy specialising in intangible asset valuation and commercialisation.  Earlier in his career, Dean served as New Zealand’s Trade Commissioner in Taiwan, building deep networks across Southeast Asia.  His background includes venture capital and direct investment roles, including supporting a biotechnology start-up through a successful IPO on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX). 

Dean began his career as a senior equity analyst at New Zealand’s largest sharebroking firm and led the high-growth strategy division at a Big Four firm.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Otago and a Master’s in Marketing and International Business from Auckland.
